What’s she up to these days?
Elanna is an account executive at Turbonomic, a startup software control system for virtual and cloud environments, which helps large enterprises meet their virtualization goals. Forbes recognized the company as the leader in their field, and Elanna has been there since it started! She manages accounts for high profile clients such as Oracle, Windows Azure and Amazon web services. She has a team that works for her and she often gives out College Pro wisdom. “As a franchisee, you run your entire sales cycle from lead generation to sales to customer service” – and she has to do all of those things now. College Pro taught her to manage expectations and make sure quality of service is being achieved for her clients, no matter what.

Her College Pro origins…
Alanna had a unique College Pro experience, in that she spent her entire pre-season preparing for her business from across the world on a semester abroad. She had applied for many jobs before deciding to go away for school, and when she got the gig at College Pro, her GM told her that if she really worked hard, she could do both. Instead of hiring her own team, she contracted out other teams to do the paint jobs. She did her calls and lead generation from Israel, and upon return in June she hit the ground running. She did her first estimate on the job, and learned as she went. She managed to hit all of her summer goals despite the challenges she faced. Proof that where there’s a will, there’s a way.
